In this episode I begin to talk a bit about Christmas (although you can apply this to Thanksgiving or Hanukah or any other celebrations you are due to attend).
Here I read a blog post I wrote when I was in recovery and about to experience my first Christmas as a recovering but not yet fully recovered person with an eating disorder! The post was about all the reasons why Christmas can be so difficult to people with eating disorders, beyond food alone.
In the next episode I will provide some tips of how to cope with Christmas when you are in eating disorder recovery.
